INTO YOUR PRODUCTION

Your phone.
Already in the mix.

Give your phone a place in OBS with a transparent composition. Keep the scene, overlays and production workflow you already use.

BROWSER SOURCE

Copy. Paste. Compose.

  1. Connect your phone in FoneStream.
  2. Open OBS output and copy the Browser Source URL.
  3. In OBS, add a Browser source and paste the URL.
  4. Match the width and height shown in FoneStream’s OBS output panel for your selected layout, and set custom frame rate to 60 fps.

Portrait uses 1080 × 1920, landscape 1920 × 1080, and square 1080 × 1080. Copy the URL again after changing the composition. If you used Add camera to place the phone, add that camera as a separate OBS source and match its crop and mirroring; the reference preview is not sent with the phone.

The URL works on the same computer as the receiver. Treat its token as private. Regenerate it if exposed.

NATIVE OBS PLUGIN

A source that belongs.

Build and install the FoneStream plugin for the matching OBS version. Restart OBS, add PhoneStream Source (the current plugin label), and paste the secure receiver URL.

Native source settings control its composition. The authenticated dock supports calibration, re-zeroing and connection status.

OBS 32.0.3 on macOS Apple Silicon was validated in the existing project. Other native targets still need runtime testing.

Using Streamlabs or another browser-overlay tool?

Browser Source is the compatibility route. No separate native plugin or verified Streamlabs runtime is claimed.
