ABOUT FONESTREAM

Give your phone
a place in the picture.

FoneStream helps creators bring their phone screen into the videos, presentations and live streams they make.

More than a screen share.

A phone is part of how we show an app, explain an idea or tell a story. FoneStream brings that screen onto your computer as a clean 2D feed or a 3D device that follows the way you tilt and turn your phone.

Choose your framing, adjust the movement and bring the result into OBS or save a recording. It fits around the production tools you already use.

Built around a direct connection.

Your phone connects to your desktop over your local network. You approve screen capture on the phone, choose what to share and decide when to stop. No account or cloud relay is needed to capture.

Part of REC Content Studio.

FoneStream is part of the REC Content Studio family, with a focus on giving creators more control over how their phone appears on screen. The project is open source under the Apache-2.0 licence.

Still taking shape.

FoneStream is in active development. Desktop and mobile availability varies, and physical-device testing is ongoing. The downloads and compatibility pages describe what is available today.
